1. Introduction and General Policy

This Refund Policy (the “Policy”) governs refund requests relating to purchases made through fatleon.com (the “Website”), operated by FatLeon (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

FatLeon provides one-time source code licenses and related digital products that are made available for purchase and delivery in digital format. All purchases made through the Website are subject to the applicable license terms, Terms of Service, this Refund Policy, and any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to the purchaser under the laws of their jurisdiction.

Unlike physical goods, digital source code licenses do not involve the return, shipment, or physical inspection of a tangible product. Accordingly, refund requests are handled according to the nature of the digital product, the applicable purchase records, the circumstances of the request, and the rules and requirements applicable to the transaction.

You may request a full refund within thirty (30) days of the order completion date. Paddle, acting as the merchant of record for the transaction, handles payment processing and refund administration in accordance with its applicable policies and requirements.

This Policy explains the time limits, procedures, conditions, and considerations applicable to refund requests. It is intended to provide purchasers with a clear understanding of their rights and responsibilities before completing a purchase.

By placing an order on the Website, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review this Policy and understand that digital products, source code licenses, and downloadable materials are subject to the terms described below. Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any mandatory legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

2. Nature of the Products and Digital Purchases

FatLeon sells one-time source code licenses and related digital products. A purchase generally grants the purchaser the applicable license rights described in the relevant product information and our Terms of Service.

These purchases are digital transactions rather than orders for physical merchandise. Consequently, there is ordinarily no physical item to return, no shipping label to issue, and no postal return procedure to complete.

Before placing an order, purchasers are responsible for reviewing the available product description, applicable license terms, stated features, technical requirements, and other information reasonably provided on the Website.

Purchasers should also consider whether the product is suitable for their intended use, whether the available source code meets their technical requirements, and whether they understand the scope and limitations of the license being purchased.

The availability of a digital download does not, by itself, eliminate the refund period described in this Policy. You may still request a refund within the applicable thirty-day period, subject to applicable law and the refund procedures administered by Paddle.

3. Thirty-Day Refund Period

FatLeon provides a thirty (30) day period during which purchasers may request a full refund for an eligible order.

The thirty-day period begins on the order completion date recorded for the relevant transaction. It does not automatically begin on the date the purchaser first downloads, opens, installs, reviews, or begins using the source code.

Purchasers who are considering cancelling a purchase should therefore pay attention to the original order completion date rather than assuming that the refund period begins when they start using the product.

A refund request should be submitted within thirty (30) days of the order completion date. Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for a refund, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or otherwise approved under the applicable policies governing the transaction.

During the refund period, purchasers may contact FatLeon or follow the refund procedure provided in their Paddle purchase receipt. The request should identify the relevant transaction and provide sufficient information to allow the purchase to be located and reviewed.

To help avoid unnecessary delays, purchasers should retain their Paddle receipt and provide the order information associated with the purchase.

Submitting a request does not require the purchaser to return a physical item because the products covered by this Policy are digital licenses. However, purchasers should cooperate with reasonable requests for transaction information needed to identify the relevant order and process the request.

4. How to Request a Refund

Paddle is the merchant of record for purchases made through the Website and handles the associated payment and refund administration.

To request a refund, purchasers may use the receipt or purchase-related information provided in Paddle's transaction email, where the relevant refund options are available. Alternatively, purchasers may contact FatLeon at:

Email: info@fatleon.com

When contacting FatLeon, please include the Paddle receipt or other available transaction details so that the purchase can be identified.

A refund inquiry should, where reasonably possible, include the following information:

  • The email address used for the purchase.
  • The order number or transaction reference shown on the Paddle receipt.
  • The approximate order completion date.
  • The name of the product or license purchased.
  • A brief explanation of the request, if applicable.

Providing complete and accurate information helps reduce the time required to identify a transaction and communicate with the appropriate party.

FatLeon may assist with identifying the relevant purchase and directing the purchaser to the appropriate refund procedure. However, because Paddle handles the transaction as the merchant of record, the actual processing and administration of the refund are subject to Paddle's applicable procedures and requirements.

Purchasers should follow any additional instructions provided by Paddle during the refund process.

5. Refund Requests for Non-Quality-Related Reasons

A purchaser may request a refund for reasons that are not necessarily related to a defect or technical failure in the digital product.

Examples may include a change of mind, a mistaken purchase, purchasing a license that is no longer needed, selecting a product that is not suitable for the purchaser's intended project, or discovering after purchase that the product does not fit the purchaser's preferences.

Purchasers should carefully review the product information and license terms before completing an order, particularly where the source code is intended for use in a specific technical environment or commercial project.

Nevertheless, a request does not become automatically ineligible merely because the purchaser's reason is unrelated to product quality. The general thirty-day refund period described in this Policy continues to apply, subject to applicable law and the procedures governing the transaction.

Where a purchaser submits a request based on a change of mind or another non-quality-related reason, the purchaser should provide the relevant order information and submit the request within the applicable refund period. Paddle handles the refund process in accordance with its applicable policies and requirements.

Purchasers should not assume that every circumstance will necessarily produce the same outcome. The applicable legal requirements, the nature of the transaction, the information provided, and any relevant Paddle requirements may affect how a request is handled.

Nothing in this section creates an additional refund period or removes any refund entitlement otherwise available under this Policy or applicable law.

6. Product Suitability, Compatibility, and Purchaser Responsibility

Before purchasing a source code license, purchasers should evaluate whether the product is appropriate for their intended purpose.

Depending on the product, relevant considerations may include programming language requirements, framework or runtime versions, dependencies, operating system requirements, development tools, hosting arrangements, third-party services, integration requirements, and the purchaser's own technical environment.

Purchasers are responsible for reviewing the information reasonably made available on the Website and determining whether the product is suitable for their intended implementation.

Differences between a purchaser's preferred workflow and the product's documented functionality do not necessarily indicate that the product is defective. Similarly, a purchaser's inability to implement or modify source code may arise from factors specific to their environment, configuration, experience, or third-party dependencies.

However, where a purchaser believes that the delivered file is incorrect, materially inconsistent with the applicable product description, or otherwise affected by a genuine delivery or technical issue, the purchaser may contact FatLeon for assistance.

These considerations do not independently cancel the thirty-day refund period. All refund requests remain subject to the provisions of this Policy and any applicable mandatory consumer rights.

7. Incorrect Files, Missing Downloads, and Technical Problems

FatLeon aims to make purchased digital products available in accordance with the applicable order and license information.

If a purchaser encounters a problem with a download or delivered file, the purchaser should contact info@fatleon.com and include the relevant Paddle receipt.

Examples of issues that may be reported include:

  • The purchased download does not arrive or cannot be accessed.
  • The delivered file cannot be opened using the reasonably applicable software.
  • The license file or product identifier does not match the SKU or product shown on the receipt.
  • The downloaded materials appear to be incomplete or corrupted.
  • The delivered file appears to correspond to a different product from the one purchased.

When reporting an issue, purchasers should describe the problem as clearly as reasonably possible and provide any relevant error messages or other information that may help identify the cause.

Where appropriate, FatLeon may investigate the reported issue, clarify the applicable product requirements, or provide instructions concerning access to the purchased materials.

The availability of technical assistance does not extend the original thirty-day refund period unless an extension is required by applicable law or otherwise expressly agreed to by the relevant party.

A technical issue should be reported as soon as reasonably practicable. Purchasers should not assume that the discovery of an issue automatically resets the refund period or establishes an entitlement beyond the terms of this Policy.

Where a refund is requested, Paddle handles the applicable refund process in accordance with its procedures and any mandatory legal requirements.

8. Downloads, Access to Source Code, and Refund Requests

Because FatLeon products are digital, purchasers may be able to access or download their purchased materials electronically.

Purchasers are encouraged to review the product description and relevant license information before downloading or integrating the source code into a project.

Where a purchaser is uncertain about the product's suitability, the purchaser should carefully consider the available product information before proceeding with implementation.

Downloading, accessing, or reviewing a digital product does not, by itself, change the starting date of the thirty-day refund period. The relevant date remains the order completion date.

Similarly, this Policy does not establish a separate refund deadline based on the first download, first use, installation date, or date on which a purchaser begins a project.

Purchasers should submit any refund request within the applicable thirty-day period, even if they have not yet completed their evaluation of the product.

Nothing in this section is intended to waive or restrict any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer right that applies under the law governing the transaction.

9. Duplicate Purchases and Accidental Orders

If a purchaser believes that the same product or license has been purchased more than once by mistake, the purchaser should contact FatLeon at info@fatleon.com and provide the relevant Paddle receipt or receipts.

Where multiple transactions are involved, providing the transaction references for each order can help identify whether the purchases are duplicates or separate transactions.

Purchasers should explain the circumstances of the duplicate purchase and submit any applicable refund request within the relevant refund period.

An accidental order or duplicate transaction does not automatically create a separate refund period beyond the original order completion date. Each transaction remains subject to the applicable terms and procedures.

Paddle handles the associated refund process in accordance with its applicable policies and requirements.

10. Refund Requests Submitted After Thirty Days

As a general rule, a change of mind after the thirty-day refund period has expired is not eligible for a refund under this Policy.

Purchasers should therefore review their purchases promptly and raise any concerns within the applicable refund period.

The passage of time does not automatically create a new refund entitlement, and the date on which a purchaser first downloads, opens, installs, or uses a product does not ordinarily replace the original order completion date for purposes of calculating the thirty-day period.

Requests received after thirty days may be considered only to the extent permitted or required by applicable law or otherwise available under the policies governing the relevant transaction.

In particular, nothing in this section is intended to limit a consumer's non-waivable statutory rights. Where a mandatory legal requirement provides a refund, cancellation right, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded by contract, that requirement continues to apply.

Where a legally required refund or other remedy is applicable, the relevant process will be handled through Paddle in accordance with the applicable requirements.

11. Merchant of Record and Refund Administration

Paddle acts as the merchant of record for transactions processed through the Website.

As merchant of record, Paddle handles the applicable payment transaction and refund administration. Refund requests may therefore be subject to Paddle's transaction records, procedures, verification requirements, and applicable buyer terms.

FatLeon does not represent that it can independently override Paddle's transaction procedures or guarantee a particular processing time or outcome for every request.

Purchasers should consult their Paddle receipt and the applicable Paddle buyer terms for information concerning the transaction and the available procedures.

Where additional information is required to identify a purchase or evaluate a request, purchasers may be asked to provide relevant order details.

The processing time for a refund, once approved or otherwise required, may depend on Paddle's procedures, the original payment method, and the relevant financial institution. FatLeon does not guarantee a specific period for funds to appear in a purchaser's account.

For questions relating to a specific transaction, purchasers should use the purchase information provided by Paddle and follow any applicable instructions.

12. Consumer Protection and Mandatory Legal Rights

This Policy is intended to describe FatLeon's general refund arrangements and should be interpreted consistently with applicable law.

Depending on the purchaser's location and the circumstances of the transaction, mandatory consumer protection legislation may provide rights that cannot be waived or restricted by a website policy.

Where such a mandatory right applies, nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, diminish, or override that right.

For example, a jurisdiction may impose specific requirements concerning digital content, conformity with a description, defective digital products, cancellation rights, or the remedies available to consumers. The applicability of any such requirement depends on the relevant law and the facts of the individual transaction.

Purchasers who believe that a mandatory legal right applies to their purchase may contact FatLeon at info@fatleon.com and provide the relevant transaction information.

Any applicable mandatory refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with the relevant legal requirements and the procedures applicable to the transaction.

13. Relationship to Other Policies and Terms

This Refund Policy should be read together with the other applicable terms and notices published by FatLeon.

The following documents provide additional information:

The Terms of Service describe the applicable terms governing the use of purchased source code and associated license rights.

The Privacy Policy explains how relevant personal information is addressed in connection with the Website and its services.

Paddle's buyer terms provide additional information concerning transactions processed through Paddle.

In the event that a provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail to the extent of the conflict. Applicable transaction terms and procedures will otherwise govern the relevant payment and refund process.

14. Policy Updates

FatLeon may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its products, business practices, transaction procedures, or applicable legal requirements.

When this Policy is updated, the revised version will be published on the Website with an updated revision date where appropriate.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, an updated Policy will generally apply prospectively to purchases made after the revised version takes effect. The handling of an earlier purchase remains subject to applicable legal requirements and any terms that govern that transaction.

Purchasers are encouraged to review this page periodically so that they remain familiar with the refund procedures applicable to their purchases.

Summary of the Refund Period

Purchasers may request a full refund within thirty (30) days of the order completion date. Paddle is the merchant of record and handles the refund process. A change of mind after thirty days is not refunded under the general policy, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law or otherwise permitted under the applicable transaction terms.

This Policy concerns digital source code licenses and downloadable products and does not constitute a postal return policy for physical goods.
