Source code · Self-hosted · AWS
FatLeon is a complete commerce system sold as source code. Get the storefront, checkout, orders, admin, and integrations in one codebase — then deploy it on your own AWS account.

What's included
A complete storefront for selling products online. Put your brand on it.
Take orders and manage them from checkout through to status emails.
Manage products, orders, customers, and settings from one place.
Languages sit in the URLs. Search engines get a proper page, not a translation bolted on later.
Tickets, referrals, and a customer area — so people can come back and get help.
Turn them on in admin. You do not write a pile of custom glue.
How fast it runs
Measured on the live demo store. Not this marketing page.

Flexible by design
Languages, checkout, product types, shipping, currency, and screens. You change them in admin. You do not rebuild the system.
The store supports multiple languages on its own — not a translation pasted on later.
People can buy after signing in, or as guests.
One shop can sell goods that ship in different ways.
Charge shipping the way you actually send orders.
Change it once in admin. Storefront prices and checkout currency update together.
The shop fits computers, phones, and tablets. You don't build three storefronts.
How you deploy
FatLeon is the application. Your AWS account runs it. The store stays under your control.
Your account
Amplify, Cognito, and DynamoDB stay in your account. It is your store, not a rented platform.
The hard part
Sign-in, APIs, the database, checkout, and admin are already in the source. You do not spend weeks wiring them.
FatLeon
Deploy with Amplify. Put your brand on it and go live. The store and its data remain in your account.
What to have ready
FatLeon is source you buy, not a hosted store subscription. You set it up on your own infrastructure.
You will need these three
The shop runs in your AWS account. Amplify, data, and files stay yours.
Order notices and account mail need someone to send them. You choose the provider.
Buying it in Route 53 is the simplest path. Connecting an Amplify custom domain is then much easier.
You can skip these
You don't rent a machine, run a database, or do the ops. Amplify runs the site. Store data stays in your AWS account.
HTTPS is handled with the Amplify domain. You don't manage certificate files.
Buy the license. Deploy it on your AWS.
Pricing
One-time purchase. You host it. FatLeon charges no monthly platform fee — AWS and payment processors bill separately.
Both licenses include the same product. They differ in where you may use it, not in features.
One-time purchase
For brands and teams running their own stores.
By paying, you agree to the Terms of Service and the refund policy.
One-time purchase
For developers and studios building stores for clients.

After you buy
Catalog, checkout, orders, and admin already ship in FatLeon. What remains is the work that should look and feel like your shop.
Change type, color, layout, and components so the shop matches your brand — not a generic kit look. This is frontend styling, not rewriting commerce.
Tune copy, imagery, and local details so customers feel they are in a shop from their market, not a translated template.
Add practical utilities for how you actually operate. A hosted platform will not ship a feature for one shop.
Use the tools you already have
Use the AI tools you already work with — Cursor, Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude, or ChatGPT. Your store data is hosted in your AWS account, and FatLeon does not lock you into a specific AI provider.
FAQ
Short answers about licensing, deployment, and ownership.
FatLeon is non-SaaS. You buy the source code and deploy it yourself.
| SaaS | FatLeon | |
|---|---|---|
| What you buy | A hosted shop you rent | Source code and a license |
| Who hosts | The platform | You, on your AWS |
| Store data | On their servers | In your AWS account |
| Fees | A monthly platform fee | One-time license. No FatLeon monthly fee |
| Customizing | Themes and apps | The source code |
No. FatLeon is an independent product and is not affiliated with AWS. It uses AWS services, but you deploy and operate the store in your own AWS account.
No. FatLeon is a one-time purchase. You get the full source code, and there is no monthly platform fee from FatLeon.
No. FatLeon is self-hosted. You deploy it on your own AWS account, and your store and its data remain under your control.
Yes. You receive the source code. Typical work is restyling the storefront, fitting the place you sell, and adding tools your shop actually needs — not rebuilding checkout, orders, or admin from scratch.
Standard covers unlimited stores you own and operate, the full source, and deployment on your own AWS. It does not cover client work or handing over a client store's project. Agency includes all of that, can also deploy on the client's AWS, and covers unlimited client stores plus handing over that one store's project. Same product; the difference is usage rights, not features.
Yes. FatLeon does not charge a monthly platform fee, but AWS and payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal bill you separately for their services.
FatLeon charges no maintenance fee. AWS bills for what you use. At the lowest usage tier, the monthly AWS bill is usually under $10 — less than leaving one EC2 small instance running all month.
Yes. There is no server you rent for the whole month. Pages run on Amplify, the API is AppSync, data sits in DynamoDB, sign-in is Cognito, images and files are in S3, and work such as placing an order runs on Lambda only when a request comes in. Capacity grows with use and drops back when it is quiet. You do not swap servers when usage rises or falls.
No. You get a license to run stores under the SKU you bought. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the kit source as a template or competing product.
